Good evening my friends,
Saturday was a shock, with temps in the 40s, after being in the 70s the day before. When Kris and the kiddos got back to Lufkin, they were greeted with a SNOW storm - this late in March! What a shock.
Now, our daughter tells us they got nine inches of snow in Albuquerque the same day. Carla is down in Florida awaiting the birth of our newest great-grandchild, Hadley London. She’s due to arrive sometime soon.
But, back to today. I finally got a short bike ride in - only the second of the New Year so far, thanks to bad weather or high winds. I’m sitting here looking at my stomach and realizing I need to get out more on that bike! Either that, or quit eating all those Hershey’s Almond Kisses - man, talk about a downfall to any diet - those are TOO delicious and once I start on a bag, forget it, they are all gone in one or two days.
I got my “A” frame sign back from the sign shop and it really looks neat. All the information is posted on both sides in final form instead of my having to make up different signs to slip into the slots. We’ll use it the first time at the book signing over on the CC Naval Station, April 1-4. We hope to see many of you there over the Easter weekend.
Come by, stop and chat and pick up a copy of my latest novel, or any of the previous ones you might have missed. You won’t be sorry.
We’re getting a lot of foreign visitors and we thank you all for stopping by.
I sent in two more of my novels to be reviewed by the MWSA. For some reason, previously, I sent one to Saudi Arabia, but now they or I can’t find out who I sent it to – strange, but true, and at a cost of $13.85, supposedly for a review, but none has been forthcoming. If you’re reading this in Saudi Arabia, let me know how you liked the book, (and, who you are!)
Nothing much else of any importance is happening. The orders are coming in, but we’re missing yours – send it in now!
So, until next time,
Vaya con Dias, my friends, (don’t be strangers and tell your friends and family to stop by).
Karl & Carol
